Archives for: December 200512/21/05New PicturesI have some new pictures in my gallery. They include pictures that I took when I went hiking in Pima Canyon in November. I also posted some pictures I took today on top of the church. Enjoy. -Trevor Filed Under: Daily Life @ 2:31 pm by Hemeac Grades InI got all my grades in today. Overall I am very pleased with the results. Rather than focusing on grades as something to strive to do well in, they are more of an indicator to the students how likely they are to passing the preliminary. That is why there is so much weight on the final since many of those questions are similar to those in the preliminaries in June. -Trevor Filed Under: Announcements, Daily Life @ 1:17 pm by Hemeac 12/20/05So Bad They're BadChristian Deathmetal
For those who remember here is the link for the great Christian Deathmetal band, Acoustic Torment. Maximum Pentecost does not have very long samples of their music so this is a much better example. Enjoy. -Trevor Judge Rejects Intelligent DesignUpdating the Dover, PA story which the townspeople voted over half of the school board out, a U.S. judge has recently ruled the old school boards decision to be unconstitutional. In my opinion, and I'm always right, this is a good thing for both those of religious and secular backgrounds. Intelligent design spits in the face of God when they claim his inability to design a universe in which complex molecules could form via evolution. -Trevor 12/18/05First Day BackWell it's my first full day back in Minnesota and I definitely notice that it is cooler here than in Tucson. I think it is currently -2 below. It's relaxing, but at the same time sort of hectic around here as well. My dad and I visited my grandpa in the hospital. He went in with pneumonia, but they may also have found a tumor by his heart & lung. It doesn't look good, but he has been in poor health for the last few years as well. I should get going. -Trevor Filed Under: Daily Life @ 9:43 pm by Hemeac Back in MinnesotaWell I am finally done with school for a couple of weeks and am back in Minnesota for a little R&R. The flight went by smoothly, I got a window seat and everyone around me all just wanted to take a nap for the flight which was just fine for me. I got home and we had my nephew's birthday celebration (his fourth) a few days late since he had just gotten over the flu. In other news, it's late and I should be thinking about going to bed. -Trevor Filed Under: Daily Life @ 2:06 am by Hemeac 12/16/05Going Back to the Frigid NorthWell I finished the finals and it looks like barring any unforseen circumstances, I will be on a plane in just under 14 hours from the time of this writing. The finals went by very well this semseter so I am leaving for home on a good note. -Trevor Filed Under: Daily Life @ 11:24 pm by Hemeac 12/11/05One Final GoneFinished my first final yesterday. I got done in around two hours (out of three allotted). I think it went well, but I have the next coming on Tuesday (Statistics). That should be the most difficult one out of the three due to the sheer amount of material that could be on the Final. Well, got to get back to the grind. -Trevor Filed Under: Daily Life @ 10:59 am by Hemeac 12/09/05Finals SoonHey Everyone, I know it has been sparse around here in terms of posting, but finals have been coming up and haven't really been out in the real world. My first final is on Saturday and the last on Friday the 16th. I will be heading back to the frigid north on Saturday the 17th. Hopefully I will see everyone soon. -Trevor Filed Under: Daily Life @ 8:07 am by Hemeac |
